Meli is delivering Safe at Home in Geelong
Meli is proud to partner with McAuley Community Services for Women to deliver the Safe at Home trial in the Geelong region.
Meli is a Victorian not-for-profit community services provider based in Geelong. Meli is the Barwon region’s largest provider of kindergartens and vital community support services including foster and kinship care, family services, family violence services for women, men and children, school engagement, youth justice, mental health, drug and alcohol services, homelessness support, family and relationship counselling, financial counselling, Gambler’s Help, emergency relief and NDIS services.
Meli has strong expertise supporting people and families experiencing family violence to find safety. This includes supporting people who are using violence to make better choices for themselves and their families. The new Safe at Home approach enables Meli to provide a coordinated, early intervention approach to the whole family where violence is present.
Meli is built on more than 150 years of combined local experience and heritage through the merging of Bethany and Barwon Child, Youth and Family (BCYF) in 2023.
